The Princess's Lament:

The Princess's Lament is a storyboard work from my personal project, "Diadem" in which the reluctant princess reflects on why she no longer wishes to be a princess, and wants to be an adventurer instead. The scene begins in her room, but navigates to her witnessing the destruction her palace brings on the land around her, which she is so in love with.

The Sorcerer's Escape

The Sorcerer's escape is a short animatic from a personal story in which a sorcerer uses her tarot deck to turn into a fearsome creature in order to escape the city guard that's attempting to capture her for her crimes. This section sees her cornered in town square and drawing on her powers in urgency.

Storyboarding for Comics

Recently, I've been working on expanding on different approaches in storyboarding. Below, you can find storyboards at various stages of rendering for two different projects. The first, and more polished, was a storyboarding exercise in which I boarded a moment from a ttrpg game I play in. The second is from my project, "Teddy Bear Heist," which can be found and explored under the projects tab.

My process in boarding linear comics is something that is done all on one canvas with the columns divided properly. This way, I can see the previous pages as I work and compare and keep track of little things. When I move onto lines and color, I will move each column to its individual canvas.
